  from within
reachable depth
obtainable horizons
  even and through
the greyest of forecasts

well wishing

  where pennies
have no thought
and angels fall
  winged

an emotional ballad
  from silent perch
to heaven's floor

forward

  carrying
like the very wind
of its breathless call
  straight and true
here and now, and long passed

sky to water

  aching rain
the tearing of souls
unsuspecting
  tumbling loss
at a blink of an eye

You know, this poem like riding on the trail of a thought. I get lost among the words and just sit back and enjoy the air as I breathe? Does that make sense to you, my friend?

I love the economy of this poem. It's as if you stuffed a carry-on bag with the emotional content of a trunk. And it works beautifully! Wish I could do it.
