This poem is in light of the amazing double-blizzard that we are experiencing here in the Eastern US(specifically in PA). I was walking in the first flurry and saw two people walking up my town's biggest hill(street) and when i came home, this came out of me. Travelers Up in the distance Walks two travelers Traveling for untold fathoms Walking for unknown time Known not is their names For travelers they are No home their place Looking back never again Fiercely the wind pounds Consuming in fury Stinging hardened faces The two continue Whirling Blizzard Flurrying snow Combating their travels With nothing to show In the white they vanish As I admire Wishing to know Where their travels will go |
