He’s earth
Soothing rain
Crashing tides
Tranquil breeze
A tempest
Rampant River
Vivid sparkling sky
And I nothing more than dust.
Nonentity
Nothing more than a particle upon the earth’s crust.
He’s breathtaking
Stunning
Tender
So very gentle to me.
And I am nothing remarkable
No one worthy of his worry
His time

Yet he gives it to me so freely
This precious soul
Is one of a kind.
Everytime he s hurting
I wish I could be the rain
To softly caress his soul
And cleanse it of his pain.
To stitch his wings so torn
And show him how to fly
To stroke his gentle face
To kiss away any tears he may cry.
But I am nothing
Too broken to be
A part of his life
To broken for love
Too broken for bliss
To broken for anything
Too broken for this

So if you know this poems for you
Beautiful
Immaculate
Angel
You’re a dream come true
And theres nothing I would not do
To get a precious smile from you…

I wish I could be your everything
Someone that you would miss
To hold you in my arms at night
And awake to your every kiss
But nothing I say is right
And I never think things through
I’m a spur of a moment
Wild
Type of girl
And I’ll never be good enough for you

He’s beautiful like the sunset
The first light of moon
Soft and bright like sunlight
On a summer afternoon
And I am nothing more than dirt that lies upon the ground
Tiny ashy particles better swept up an thrown away
Then to be scattered around

He’s the perfect example of
Immaculateness
And I’m just defective me
No hopes for love
Nor bliss
He’s too good
For This
He and I can never be.

Keep putting yourself down and you may get your wish and he will start believing he's too good for you.

You are the dirt from which all else grows
The land upon which all else is built
The foundation of the temple
That can't be worshiped in
Unless you are present
There is more to you than he
Believe in yourself

The above is just where you took me... which is a good thing, I think. Welcome to PIP. I hope you enjoy these cool blue waters. Peace.

Eh, why is dirt so bad? As Andrew stated, its the foundation of ALOT of things. I like the layout of this piece. Enjoyed.

You'd be surprised by the pain I can imagine inflicting and receiving.

I suspect he's got his own defects - you just haven't encountered them as yet.

Nicely written, and welcome to Passions in Poetry.  Check your email for a special welcome.
