Forever In Your Heart

And if there was s a soul,
so beautiful and so sweet,
I would pluck it from the garden,
like a rare and beautiful flower,

hiding infinite beauty in the burrows,
my heart would think it most precious,
holding dear, some magical potion,
the fountain of youth, love.

No other would it claim as its own,
one devine, forever, knows his name,
I speak it often, in sleep or wake,
whispering off the tip of my pink lips,

His poems I kiss with my own lips,
inhaling the scent of paper it is written on,
he is most kind, my heart becomes a bunny,
leaping from my chest as if death has pierced it.

One day, I will touch those golden lips,
kiss those loving fingers, whose words I adore,
written for me from the bowels of his heart,
one day my love will cling to me,

with passionate arms, encircling all of me,
that one moment in time, it will feel
as if all of my life will have escaped.
