Sometimes I wonder how God knows What wind will bring the winter snows What day will ice the lawn and trees What prayer will bring me to my knees He seems to stand beside my bed And knows my prayers before they’re said And when I felt a shallow breath Would be my end, a silent death He knew I had more lonely nights To ponder wrongs and relish rights More days to whittle time away More seasons left, more debts to pay More years to live and love and grow More winter days just watching snow Sometimes I wonder deep within If snow will fly tomorrow’s wind Elizabeth Santos |

The wonder of wondering is that it makes you an innocent child again for those few moments. |

What exquisite ponderings. I love that our needs are known before we do, feel the beauty of softness falling into awareness, whether it be snowflakes or angel messages. This is very lovely, Elizabeth. Be blessed! |

I think that the recently installed Mz. Gizmo has recharged and clicked on dear Madame Santo's sonnet switch I could sure borrow the fellow standing guard over your bed to help get rid of this sciatica Liz. Lovely poem and prayer dear friend. |

What would life be without the wonder of it all? Your words speak a powerful truth of being human. Peace. "We'll chase them like rats across the tundra." |
