calmness of the sea
signals tidal waves coming
mother nature's twist
a cruel joke she plays on us
retribution for our sins

-Trina.

You'd be surprised by the pain I can imagine inflicting and receiving.

Mother nature does play nasty tricks upon us.  But maybe it is retribution for all of the terrible things that we have done to her.  Tit for tat.

I don't think nature has a brain, or can think, so if what happens to us in the wake of nature's wrath is merely where we live. If we live around water we get hurricanes and tidal waves. The plains of America is wrought with tornadoes. The northern states and the east coast suffer through blizzards.

By the way, love this, "You'd be surprised by the pain I can imagine inflicting and receiving."
