windows were always more complicated then
when they were still in their boxes
and the shades were drawn

but you brought me some of yours slowly
while wearing that special gown
with the woman locked inside

and a key tattoo hidden on the heart side
among other decorations here and there
just to add pleasurable distractions

and to see if I noticed your eyes too
as fragile panes without protection
that would melt into sighs sometimes

and leave a tear to moisten your smile

Somehow the "tear" line seems out of place, but I'm sure it is only my reading of the poem that causes me to think that. You give good thoughts to the "window decorations" both women and men wear in their dealings with the world at large and the opposite sex in particular. Enjoyed this.
