The moon shines off the lethargic-moving creek So bright So bright at night It fills my heart With harmony A flicker here and there Nothing skims across the water Highlighted by the moon Not even fish jump and play Respecting the hour I stare at the moon's face in the water It smiles back Gives me a lazy wink Accepting Giving me assurance all is well I dare look beyond the moon In the crystal clear night air at the stars It is there I hear subliminal voices When one voice recedes another one begins Saying the same thing just in different ways Life is good Where 'ere is found Rejoice the next breath Love what you do Do what you love A bullfrog harrumphs quietly Breaking the stillness and serenity Now a fish leaps The moon goes into hiding behind a cloud Noise of the forest resumes I sit for a moment longer Thinking of the things That brought me there I rise, go back to the rat race Cherishing the moments beside the creek . . . and the Raven said, %!~#&(!$! |

You cherish in a wonderful way, things that I cherish too. You write nature with a loving pen. |

Jerry: Would that I could visit that creek. Don't have any of those where I live. You painted a nice picture. Thanks for the view. Peace. "We'll chase them like rats across the tundra." |

Appreciate it, Prasad, sometimes we just need to take off for a few hours. . . . and the Raven said, %!~#&(!$! |

Very well-composed. Amazing how a large animal (human) moving in moonlight can scare smaller creatures for a bit, until as you describe here the light changes, a frog resumes, etc. |

Yes it is amazing that wild things sense unnatural things in their world (humans) and are quiet until they sense all is well. thanks, Easy. . . . and the Raven said, %!~#&(!$! |
