With Holidays approaching I find myself now dreading What was once anticipated But the past has taken Its yuletide toll As bah humbuging husbands tarnished The shining In my heart Year after year Into decades My joy dismantled Going through The motions Of traditions I still keep Out of guilt |

Hah! Bah-humbug right back, ebm. I've been one of the hum-buggers for quite a few years. Except for the special day it is for Christians it is merely another way to extract money from the many who can ill afford to spend it. Some actually go into debt to try to outdo others in the spending derby. I have a brother who used to do that. I do feel badly that your hum-bugging is a direct cause of husband(s).
