My friend laughs with delight Expression gleeful Voice lilting with expression As she tells of her husband’s shirts Tattered and worn Hidden in her closet in plain sight And I wonder if she realizes These touch stones of his past Only remain hidden out of sight Because he loves her so - Alison ~ with thanks to Amaryllis for reminding me that I love to write  |
