Veterans Day 2010 I thought I was too busy To, take the time to care But, I went to the VFW And saw, all of them there. All those who Served their time Who, all did their special bit Some of them, came back, unscathed But, some of them took, a "hit"! Let's not forget those Families Who made, all that Sacrifice Who spent their time, and loved ones In all those wars. War. The devastation it causes, both on the battlefield and on the home front is so awful it would look like we would figure out it is not worth it. Still, there are always those who seem to think they can do whatever they want to do on the world stage without consequence. They have to be dealt with on their own level. On their own level. That is what I have against the way we are fighting the war in Afghanistan. Our troops are bound by "rules" the Taliban is not. In war there should be one "rule." Win it. . . . and the Raven said, %!~#&(&#!$! |
