THE SWORD AND THE CROSS turn a cross upside down and it looks like a sword turn a sword upside down and it looks like a cross some knights carried swords with hilts shaped like the body of christ there is a nuclear submarine named the Corpus Christi on eBay you can bid on a crucifix blessed by the pope and worn by a porn star who said, “I don’t believe in god, but I pray.” poetry podcasts, blogs and photopoems at URL= http://anthonyarmstrong.ca |

Covering her/his assets I would say about the porn star. Was with you on everything except the Corpus Christi line. Trying to figure that out. . . . and the Raven said, %!~#&(!$! |

Jerry, thanks for reading. The Corpus Christi line just points out the irony of naming a vessel of war after the body of Christ; it is like turning the cross upside down. poetry podcasts, blogs and photopoems at URL= http://anthonyarmstrong.ca |

Hope you don't mind, but here's where my thoughts went... The duality of humanity A matter of perspective Turned upside down And inside out So, fall on that sword To find out for sure If pope or porn Has cast the winning bid Or if Corpus Christi Is just stenciled letters On the side of war "We'll chase them like rats across the tundra." |
