For my sister |

I saw two little girls With matching braids in their hair They were talking and laughing Without so much as a care I watched as one pushed The other in a swing, And she listened intently as Her friend began to sing She smiled with joy With a tear in her eye, And she made a wish On that bright blue sky To always be happy and To always be there, To always have each other For they were a pair But as they grew older Time made them part, But never did it break That loving bond in their heart For they were not just Ordinary friends, No, they were sisters And that bond never ends. |

That's very lovely and so true. And the connection continues! Love, Margherita |

Eirian, Your poem touched me deeply. I have three sisters. Our relationships with each other are complicated and often painful. I think of them fondly and remember how they took care of me when I was little - but, we have grown apart and it is not as easy now. Thank you for this poem. Alison |
