Two Billion dollars For a presidential trip Good thing we're not broke. Three thousand people Being taken for a ride Guess what? So are we. In my whole life I'll Never see the Taj Mahal But my money will. No expense too great When Obama wants to play Big man on the hill. Spending's so much fun When it's done with OPM (You can look it up) Well, the fault is ours. We gave him to power to spend. A timely poem, Balladeer! Amazing that our mainstream media here in America has failed to report the expense related to Obama’s escapade but that it made the news both in India and the U.K. Hopefully, poems and posts such as yours will get the news out to the people. Wouldn’t we all love to see the Taj Mahal? For this price, it seems we should have! Maybe he’ll send us a postcard. yeah, right. Thanks for posting! |

...and I suppose our local national media has been given good incentive to keep the highlights of this off the wires... but can one be impeached for idiocy in these current economic times? |
