I`m such a typhoon, at my easel- I lose hours, lose myself, in this transfer, my palette groans with saturations, glints with prussian blue and tourmaline, loads my brush, my knife, in oiled abandon, skeins of color flashing to the air, slipping down my arms and to the floor; the alder frame also wears the ribbons of my passion. Motes of madness spit in bright aeration, beneath these gymnast fingers- I know my subject well; the composition rings it`s truth behind my hazing eye, visioning the final hair-thin touches, transported, the silent room recedes. . Don`t stand too close, you`ll wear my overspill- I apologize; now here`s the turpentine, I hope it doesn`t stain; your denim shirt never my intended canvas. See the colors wash away, though still a stain, a darkened circle where I, unknowing, flit the excess of my introspection- sliding subtle through the woven fiber. |

To lose oneself in his/her art of the moment is life at its best. "I`m such a typhoon, at my easel-" is such a profound statement, and one that I can heartily relate to. I am the same way with my novels, although after twelve of them the passion can't quite match the earlier ones, the baby's you might say. Yes, I can relate to your dripping-down-your-arms paint. . . . and the Raven said, %!~#&(!$! |

(grinning here) sometimes the colors just fall as they may, when someone stands too close... really like the flow of this and the way it can speak on several levels to the reader.. good stuff ma'am... |

The smell of oils gives a great high,” I am snail at my easel though, Amaryllis” it takes ages to get a work done. Fine writing. "Hardwork pays in the long run" |

I don't think that was your denim shirt. I think a tall dark handsome stranger snuck up behind you and wrapped his arms around your waist........consequently some spillage of sorts...Aw, you painters have all the fun. Seriously, this is very very well written and the images jump to life in unique expression. Eric |
