Objectified

and paid for--

denied my humanity

with that clause

in tiny print:

"Just a fantasy, okay?"

I-am-just-for-funsies

me

so tell me

how much fun it was

to label me as troubled as

you poked at me with truant verbs

ad hoc hornimen

I am not here to pleasure you

I'm barely here at all

and now

I'm so bare it frightens me

opening the cage

to change

the news

as if a fresher date

might make it all okay again,

I am the bird that flew away

but at the very least you say:

"At last the cage is cleaner now"

I wonder how you sleep...

Since this comes of as in-your-face-personal, I can only say I hope tomorrow is better.

So much raw emotion. To be objectified...I think I'd be furious - seeing how I am NOT an object, and FAR from simple. Enjoyed this.

Being caged
comes in many forms...

trust me, the damned
don't sleep for long.

Thanks for reading, folks.

Oh wow, love your fury and your excellent poetry.

I'm not going to tell you that I want to write like you do,
cause it will never happen.  But I sure do love reading you.

Ouch! Some serious passion in this one... as is usually the case with your writing. Solid. I bow to yours.
