River pearled in moonlight flow
Dreams dreaming their way to the sea
Moonlit curves and bends aglow

Lapping gurgle melody
A song that only it can know
In current harmony
Fast and slow

Midnight pearls soothingly
Downstream they go
Swallowed up delicately
From the dark with stars in tow

Ah. Beautifully said. Wordage complimented the premise and the flow. Don't suppose Pearl River would be anywhere around Mississippi, would it?
