Joy Rising

A very huge mob of People
Along with the Black Eyed Peas
Filled the streets of Chicago
And was a sight to surely, please.

Thousands of them were watching
And there was a dancing girl, in blue
Jumping up and down like crazy
As people, are often prone to do.

As the music and song progressed
More and more, showed off their moves
Getting caught up in the sounds
Of the Peas, soul-catching grooves.

It seemed that it was spreading
Like a wave across the throng
As everybody felt the beat
Of, “I Gotta Feeling”, a great song!

More than twenty thousand danced
It was quite a sight to behold
As all those People reached out
To bring each other, into the fold.

Those strangers became as one
With a bond you can’t destroy
Wouldn’t it be nice if all the World
Could only, feel that rising joy.

Music brought them all together
Just, some simple words, and sound
If all Peoples could know that feeling
Then, peace and goodwill might be found.

music has always been an important part of my life, always will be

it does create a bond for sure

I know I sure did! I got up there and tried to join in with the group. That was awesome, and the making of that, is something to research.

"I got a feelin" that this is the year for unity - I really do!

The fact that pure jubilation is contagious is a wonderous thing...if we could bottle that and send it around the world would be even better! As long as other people do not think that we are purely robots, but can think on our own, as well in participation as we want to is a great thing! Thank you, Abe!
