Zdenka, it was a name that fell from the sky A name he gave to a character, a woman in a story he told his flatmate He left his flatmate at an Argentinian Restaurant/Cocktail Bar She had been kissing on this random guy she met in the streets of Prague A "blick" man, a black man from the darkest of Africa He couldn't sit there and watch her, when the Cougar was on the prowl So he left, on a full moon night when he was in one of his moods Debauchery, his urge on nights like that that was the only word that came to mind to describe it He disappeared into the night walking the wet steps the cobblestone, brick laid, mason made on the path God and man paved. That night he discovered the make up of a Czech woman an intensive examination of her framework how their bones, their knees and legs in particular were so delicate, slender, small and tender like that of a bird... He came back home and his flatmate quizzed him as to where he went... He did meet someone that night, the name, if she had one, escaped him So he told her he met Zdenka the story was a combination of 3 women A woman he had met on the internet, prior to his arrival in Prague The woman he ACTUALLY met, a blonde at a club and the other woman, well, he couldn't even remember her story. So he began to write one... |

Your poems are like a movie, but with only one take and so many fascinating scenes. Love the continuing story of the Life and times of a martiniat8. Cheers to you~ |

Just goes to show you that writers can reach into the despairing air of humiliation, take his walk and seethe, all the while the back of his thoughts are saying, make this work for you . . . and he did. . . . and the Raven said, %!~#&(!$! |
