. This gift on impulse For someone else Is wholly without any Redeeming significance Or cultural value I bought it at a store In a town we never were That had a white cat With twitching whiskers Batting at flies it saw Through a window On the other side It’s October The leaves have changed And already are falling On all the roads It’s a silly piece of glass I would have passed except I knew you would have loved it For awhile . |

A Ruby Pony sounds rather magnificent, and not at all silly. I enjoyed this. -Trina. |

Glass is generous! Many are made from plastic. Won't that cat be bored when it gets colder and the flies expire. Methinks the storyteller's heart is in the right place, as places go. Enjoyed reading this work. |
