                    life and time

‘Enlightenment’ is ...

the cool evening breeze through this deep
   Autumn forest
bathed in boundless mountain moonlight
beneath an infinite mantle of tremulous stars.

all that touches the ever-wondering mind,
wandering heart, and unencumbered spirit
of those at peace in simple surrender to life
   and time.

I love this! It has a haiku-like feel about it and a Buddhist theme (enlightenment). Very well expressed.
