On my way home I got a text from her on my phone

Her text reads:

My love,

Time to end this good thing of ours
Like winter ends the lives of  beautiful flowers
You know life doesn't like it when you're happy for too long
How come things that feel so right
End up being so wrong
Oh well, it is what it is
I enjoyed our time together love
This is my goodbye
As I type this I'm trying not to cry
I won't be around when you read this
So just blow a kiss
And I'll catch it
What do I reply with?

Oh, the hardships of a poet that love is a roller coaster at times.

Street Poet - Don't cry because it's over. Smile because it happened. You learned something. Now reality says you must move on. I like the flow and context of this work. Namyh
