My love,

Tell me again of rainbows
dancing between midnight
and your lips that leave
indelible impressions
upon the heart

weave tales over warm
skin only fingertips
can discipher and faith
can reveal

I am your shield

your mirror

so whisper softly
hidden secrets tasting
of brine and spirits
bound so tenderly with
twine and soul

for I love you so

I love you...

A lucky "him" to have such a letter penned....
and as I said before, I think I will have to crown you queen of the romantic... your poems always seem to carry the tone and offer heart...

Thank you, Eusta, for reading and for the kind words. They are truly appreciated!

Captain, he is very special and should know that by now. As for being the Queen of romance, you bestow far too grand a title on the likes of me. It is appreciated nonetheless. *teehee*

fine Romanticism!

I am particularly fond of:

"so whisper softly
hidden secrets tasting
of brine and spirits
bound so tenderly with
twine and soul"

Latearrival, So kind of you to say! your comment is deeply appreciated.

Dark, There's nothing like sharing cocoa with someone special on chilly day. I'm glad you enjoyed the poem.
