Yo Passing shadows, This is a nice little ice storm. Are the wires down there, and are you without electric power? Good luck. Love Bobby |

Susan, there are some really neat pics you can see on any search engine...just type in "ice storm". It is beautiful but very destructive. One would not think that water could weigh that much. Bobby, it is not here yet but they are saying it's coming tonight. We might lose power then, and as slow as people are around here, we'll be without power for days, if not weeks. |

Dear Passing shadows, Ah yes, I remember the great ice storm of 1945. All we could do was build massive snow forts and have snowball wars for about two weeks. It was a blast, with no school. Love Bobby |

Beautiful to look at, but certainly the consequences can be destructive. You say it with your usual mastery. Perfect combination of picture and words. Love, Margherita |

Actually these after-storms can be very beautiful to snap ( as long as you haven't lost power). This one is just missing us this time. Make sure you have plenty of water and food and blankets to keep warm, just in case. M |
