Leaving this place walking one step behind. Fooling myself, that I wasn't still blind. Entrenched in anger, and sinking in deep. Though I wash it away, it continues to seep. Our potential for friendship, seems forever lost. That's the gift I receive trying to win at all cost. A senseless decision, a foolish reply. Self pity is truly a remedial lie. Forgive me, dear lady, let me just fade away. Such a long way to go, at the end of the day. |

Interesting write. What can I say, I enjoyed the read, and if it's just words can probably be worked out, if there's real friendship there---not like sticks and stones and such rot. Prince Philip IIRC has to walk three steps behind... |

There is a friendship there. Sometimes life is about accepting limitations. There were no sticks and stones really. Thanks for commenting, and reading, even if I don't often make sense. Sometimes I'm just letting off some steam. It's good to let the bad stuff evaporate, so to speak. Life is meant to be enjoyed, not just endured. |
