It hits me blindside sometimes. We sure got old. And fast. Seems like it was yesterday I was living in the past. What was it that happened here? What exactly, I mean why, how did it leave me sitting here without the chance to say goodbye? God! I AM my mother now! It just smacked me right upside the head. We sure got old, all of us, Naomi now moved off and wed. Sierra about to graduate and I sit here in a state of wishing that it all could wait. ![]() [This message has been edited by passing shadows (01-27-2010 10:29 PM).] |

Yo dear Passing shadows, Time waits for no one. Many of us wish it would. This is an effective poem. Love Bobby |

I dunno. All I know is your daughters are beautiful - like their Mama. And I like the poem. It all works for me. A |

I wish it could wait too Dixie but... your daughters are very pretty and I know how you miss the little girls they once were. |

You just did stop time for a moment, while expressing these deep thoughts. That consideration "I am like my Mother now" also hits me often. So true. It's life's way ... Beautiful and sunny faces, your daughters, you will continue to follow their lives and enjoy the now. Enjoyed your poem very much. Love, Margherita ![]() ![]() |
