The familiar in the foreign is what I seek and It isn’t enough to say how deep But to know truer am I now than I knew myself before to be And never will I know where you go from me When you’ve gone to the rye to swim deep Beneath the green Where into the earth we race to sleep, Deep, back to the autumn’s reach In a rusted cedar slumber that saw you to the stars And the discipline that denial takes Makes an ache just like the embrace of absence Warm with fatigue am I over you And it quickens me to know That I’ll never know new Tethered and bound The movement, it tills me A shallow bed Quick to be met in my death Beside you in time must I be And how I miss you, my Blue |

Deeply melancholic, beautifully expressed. Margherita |
