Peeling away layers like a bruised onion, releasing tears, my soft inner core exposed, tender, raw. Held tightly within each decaying layer, wounds, old once hidden, laid bare, now examined, identified, inspected. Emotions, ripe, rotten, like long dead carcasses picked over by natures undertakers, ivory bones stripped clean. Enlightened, my heart beats patiently, like swallows waiting on a telegraph line, to migrate, flying free. |

Beautifully done - there is nothing better than the flight of transition. There is hope in this. |

Laying bare your soul and exposing all the hurt and raw emotions, can be a very difficult process. ~ but the catharsis can lighten our spirits, enabling us to fly high and free! ![]() ![]() EA |
