I've posted here before and have gotten some good feed back. I come from a poorer household and i spurred to write this when one of the "upper-class" friends of mine started to hit slightly hard times and started to complain about luxuries(punishments as they see it) that I don't even get to enjoy. Sometimes all you need to write good is a little passion(or slight anger in this case lol).

I hope you all enjoy
THE SINS OF THE POOR

The rich condemn the poor
Echoing their sorrow
Gouging a hole that tore
Long ago from sins swallowed

They mock; They laugh; They HATE
Making the poor dead
Distinguishing flames that wait
For a life without dread

Being great GLUTTONS
They feed on the low
They feed on the weak
They feed ...on the poor

And what of the poor?
The ones that squabble?
Those with none to adore?
Who are left to hobble?

They sit in the scums
Washing the feet
Hearing GREEDY hums
From those above who eat

Come the Rich
Drowned by PRIDE
Filling every niche
Hiding all that is to hide

LUSTING after all they see
While we are stuck here
Watching what we want to be
Knowing that life is not near

We that work till the sun dies
Know they will never know
With their deadly SLOTH lives
They will never see our tragic woe

When the day begins to dusk
They are the ones who ENVY us
For we work and are poor
Yet smile and live for more

7 Deadly sins...
and while certainly you explain the motivation or back story..
unfortuantely those same sins are not confined to only the rich or well to do..

enjoyed....

An enjoyable read that held my interest until the end.  And while I agree that greed is a sin I do not believe that all rich people are evil.  But you do use such passionate language to make your case.

@Earl: I am not saying ALL rich people are this way, but this is the stereotypical view the world has on them and which some, if not most, really are. Living my whole life, I have yet to run into a "nice" one. Maybe that's just my luck. Even our movie stars indulge to lives like this. If one has more than another, they will see themselves as better, its a basic human thing.

@Earth Angel: I made sure that meaning was very very prevalent

@The Lady: Im glad you enjoyed one of my works .

Have any of you read my other works?
