The sun Is going down On a calm Welcoming Blue ocean Lucky sun It is long past The time for drama The endless Pathetic going round And round seeking A higher moral ground For what after all Is simple pleasure So close the doors Put the candles out Leave the window open To bring in the evening air Tomorrow We can return to being No more than Mortals wandering In futile posturing ‘til the end . |
