I hear the rain, tapping on the window Calling me to come out and play It tells me the flowers are out in the meadow I hear the rain The rain is puddling in the driveway I go and stand at the window It’s calling me to come out and play I wander out onto the porch to stand Thunder growls nearby in warning Today’s not a day to wander the land I hear the rain |

Thank you, my daughter challenged to write in this style, although I don't remember what it is called. |
