I miss the sea As one improvised party On a bridge of Istambul, As a disappearing girl In the angle of a populated street, I miss the sea as a foreign language as millions of glances frienly and opened, As a space which offers me the infinite greatness of its presence, As a present of Cristmas, As a loving smile Which is transformed into river, I miss the sea as a mountain to which I don’t know what to say, As a forest perfume Where we can lose our past, I miss the sea as jewels Which shine on accessible wrists, As the air which I inhale in your eyes, I miss the sea as you, As the birds which cross you And block the road of the sun, But a wave takes away the sea And suddenly everything has to be rebuild. |

I love how this reads, yann. It's so filled with yearning and yann (sorry, couldn't resist). Anyway, I follow your poetry and never fail to enjoy it. A |

Lovely use of metaphor and of imagery, especially seaside imagery. We wish for prosperous calm in reality, yet even fortunate in love our metaphors are continually rebuilt. |
