Everlasting Memory As I look into the night sky, I am reminded of your eyes. Always sparkling! Always twinkling! As they do when You look at me In wonder and surprise. Your awe of me is quite amazing. With the way I first saw you, You were helpless and you needed me. I watched you grow. I taught you to see. I helped you become The person you were meant to be. I love you with all of my heart, And now could never let us be part. You and I are always connected. And I need to know That you will always be protected. For your creation, Will always be. An everlasting memory. I love you always and forever |

What a lovely tribute to someone you love (a child?). I think this kind of poem is always a pleasure to read. It expresses sentiments that we all fell but sometimes can't put into words. But you have done a fine job of it. |

^Yes, you have done a fine job. As for protection, we all have to trust in God from time to time, and part of true love is a modicum of trust and freedom. (Did you mean to type "never be apart", though?) |
