No More Tears to Cry I’ve been alone so many years, And broken hearted so many times. I don’t understand why, I have no more tears to cry. My heart has been hardened, My soul has too. I just don’t understand why, I have no more tears to cry. I’ve spent so many times Crying myself to sleep Over so many different things. That I don’t believe, That I have no more tears to cry. With all the times that I have been crushed. And all the times that I have been beaten. With all the people against me, And all those who are will me. I can finally understand why, I have no more tears to cry. |

A very touching poem -- and so sad. But I think you have made the right choice to express your feelings in poetry. I have found there are no better friends than poems you write, poems you read and fellow poets. Welcome to the group. |

sometimes we feel like we have no tears left because we have refused to cry for so long that we don't know how anymore |

That is a such a sad touching poem that I can't help feeling a great sympathy for you. Don't lose hope, sit down and think of all the good things you have in life and I'm sure they will far outweigh the bad. Sometimes a visit to an accident ward at a hospital or a mental institution will give you a new slant on life. Good luck my dear and a warm welcome to PIP, you are among friends here. Lindsay |

I do hope that those terrible times are past. The great thing about poetry is that we can vent negative feelings and leave something positive through our efforts. Welcome to the forums. |
