In my mind Where all the emotion do rumble upset with the tumble They feign happiness To keep the world cool The stars shine in hope To light up the darkness In which corrupt minds try to pull everyone down Waves will crash against the shore Yet the thoughts will never stir Fixated on perplex sorrow Pity, doubt of finding peace Too blind to see truth Yet knows when to read the signs To notice when the curtain lifts Yet stunned in the warm spotlight. ------------------------------------------------- Just thoughts on my mind. I end up writing out this poem in my head while brushing my teeth. I'm going to show this to my therapist this morning since I really have nothing to talk about today. (this poem's meant to be random.) |

I find these "head writes" say the things that need saying the most. Enjoyed your thoughts. |

A good read, thanks for posting. What to say, especially about this subject? ... Good old Thoreau said that, quote, "The mass of men lead lives of quiet desperation." Yet, such is not the poet's fate... Abuse of power |
