You can break my bones You can throw sticks and stones You can take Just about everything You can take away my time You can rule my mind You can do Just about anything But you can’t change me I am still me I, will always be You can hurt me today You can take it all away You can try To change my head You can change my ways You can tell me what to say You can leave me now Leave me left for dead But you can’t change me I am still me I, Will always be |

*smile* I've long given up on trying to change others to suit me. A lesson in futility, as I have discovered. And no, it's not that the other will not change, it's that I am changing too, and that, lovie, is the magick of that lightning in a bottle alignment of perfect suitability. Two people in flux, finding each other in...perfection? I'd need a census taker, a slew of physicians and a mathematical genius to figger out the odds. Thought-provoking piece, though. Enjoyed. |

Change will always happen, but it's good if we are coherent to our own profound nature. But we are in the eternal flow and nothing remains as it is ... Well said. Love, Margherita |
