I felt the pain in my feet Felt it crawling to my knees I begged the Lord Lord would you please... Let me sleep tonight Let it fall all away Darkness taking over Peacefully taking me away I met the Angel you sent She is so perfect and pure So of course as it goes I fell in love with her ... Feeling the warm Touch on my skin I knew in my heart Of the impending sin I was so fragile When you left I felt the victim Of your theft My heart was stolen Yeah And it's okay It was left broken Cold and gray Yeah And it's okay I'll always love her “Most men lead lives of quiet desperation and go to the grave with the song still in them.” -Henry David Thoreau |

Yes, you do in fact express desperation in this poem. Not everyone can carry off strong emlotional content (I can't). Well done. |

I`m also liking this.. must be really reaching your readers! . By the way, from the title I thought it might be something about the earthquake in CA lol . ~Amaryllis |

lol @ the P.A.D. comment. It was meant to show how much I've paced in circles thinking about the situation rather then stating that's why my feet hurt. Thank you for the comments. |
