Spirit Wings Please Click Link above to hear music and my voice recording. Music: “Angels of Dawn” by Dik Darnell From the album entitled: In the Presence of Angels  Spirit Wings by Linda L. Dowd I leapt from a mountain and into the air, ~ Flapping my arms on a wing and a prayer. I was lost and lonely and deep in despair, As I plunged toward earth in a living nightmare. In but an instant, I was bathed in God’s Light. I tingled all over at the bedazzling sight ~ Of angels aglow in colors vividly bright, ~ Azure, and amethyst ~ petal pink, and snow white. My spirit rose up to the heavens above. I was wrapped in the warmth of Mother God’s Love. I passed Pearly Gates on angel wings of a dove, And now joyously recall that moment thereof. The air was scented by a fresh, lilac breeze. And songbirds sang merrily from burgeoning trees. Crystal clear waters did calmingly please, As life flowed effortlessly with grace and with ease. When I leapt from that mountain in rudderless twirl, ~ My faith was restored with wings in awhirl. That grand leap of faith caused spirit wings to unfurl, And into the heavens flew this born-again girl. I now soar with the eagles above Mother Earth, ~ Since that moment divine of my spirit's rebirth. I’m brimming with confidence and esteemed self-worth. I am hopeful, and joyful, and flushing with mirth. I had leapt from a mountain and into the air. ~ Flapping my arms on a wing and a prayer. I was lost and lonely and deep in despair.
