We all know 'Deer' loved to write Gave him pleasure, pure delight. He writes with passion, just can't quit Jotting down poetic script. He wrote about Toe on his foot Then wrote about me in his book I thought it nice to be about me Then read the title: "Toebotomy" He wrote on walls on floors and desks On his face and legs and chest His bathroom walls were quite a sight He wrote from morning thru late night He wrote on everything he could, Paper, metal-bits of wood Then on his body, every part Around his neck down to his heart Some places where he'd left quotations You'll have to have imagination When he'd walk his gut would wiggle And you could read poetic scribble Sky writing poems about Toerag, With his memory going bad, He stopped the plane to dot an "i" And never finished his last line. |
