The sunlight is bright, Too bright for the likes of me One who prefers dark A being of the deep night, Let darkness set free To not be enslaved to day. Brightness makes my eyes to weep So I close them to shallow sleep. I’m busy in night Which is accepting of me, It asks not my face Hiding from casual sight, Cools the inside me, Chills the emotions away. Gloom |
