When somebody leaves us, he or she changes the sense of our lives, the air is not so pure any more nor mountains so majestic, friends seem distant and cold as winter, the world becomes an illusion and smile becomes a torture… Somebody whom we know always looks like us and his departure is cruel, inexplicable and inequitable…. is he a father ?, is she a mother and the pain is unbearable, we don’t hear the birds inside us, we will not here their voices anymore stories without them begin with tears , it is necessary to resign oneself to not understand the will of the trees, the world has sense without us, a sense which does not belong to us. |

What an incredibly sensitive write, dear Yann! And how true and sadly familiar your words ring within my heart. Life definitely changes and in the beginning it seems almost impossible to go on and yet we do go on, learning slowly to live with the sadness and to cope with "not hearing" the beloved voice anymore.
