Hints of a distant morning render the mobile art, melon, coral, sapphire against a cobalt heart. Another day approaches to filter the night`s domain, light, like a benediction blesses the room again. soft upon the sleepers, tender across small forms, competeing in vain with innocence, precious in slumber`s arms. Jewels on the dew-pink window and gems in my misty eye, oh capture somehow this miracle, this moment of charm sublime. |

Thank you, Marge! This is an older poem I wrote some time ago, when my boys were littler. The moment was so achingly beautiful that it is forever etched in my soul.. the poem can hardly do it justice! Love~Amaryllis |

This is absolutely precious, miss. Is there anything more beautiful than the face of a sleeping child? I think not.... |
