Hints of a distant morning render the mobile art, melon, coral, sapphire against a cobalt heart. Another day approaches to filter the night`s domain, light, like a benediction blesses the room again. soft upon the sleepers, tender across small forms, competeing in vain with innocence, precious in slumber`s arms. Jewels on the dew-pink window and gems in my misty eye, oh capture somehow this miracle, this moment of charm sublime. |

Thank you, Marge! This is an older poem I wrote some time ago, when my boys were littler. The moment was so achingly beautiful that it is forever etched in my soul.. the poem can hardly do it justice! ![]() Love~Amaryllis |

This is absolutely precious, miss. Is there anything more beautiful than the face of a sleeping child? I think not.... |
