The breeze was balmy dancing in the morning light
as the sun spilled in all it's splashing splendor
the ocean sparkled like blue sapphires
and the clouds were satin streams
and run on ribbons
tied to the heart of the sea.

Blowing in the wind with the top down
catching eyes behind a smile
filling our sails with an endless motion
and the cutting edge
of blue on blue
we were golden
taking my breath away.

Invitations to summer secrets
and the allure
of diamonds in the dark
reflecting the twilight
in celebration
pearl essence in pale pinks
glossed over
before parting ways
in the pre dawn hours
where rainbow's ripple
in between dreams.
