I Forever You

My nights used to be
so dark
until you shimmered
into my life.

Like countless nicks,
in a brunette tent
you radiate toward me
like a thousand sparks of life
plunging
toward the faint
that fell upon the soul
of my amiss.

I never realized
that every star came out
just for you,
except for the two
most brilliant,
that god stole
for your eyes.

You are the silence
of my dark
when I miss you
by my side.

You are the hurt
within my pain,
when I yearn you
in my mind.

I am the hush
within your sigh
that falls quiet
in desire.

I am the bite
upon your mouth
when I fill you
from afar.

What is love,
besides the absolute
true measure
of our meaningfulness?

What is love,
besides three words
we utter
before nighttide.

They say that love
is the ideal,
whereas marriage,
is just real.

All I know myself
is that
my love for you
is true.

And that people
look for someone whom
they really truly need,
and I my love, this night
and always,
forever marry you.

Just so lovely... I especially liked the image of light shining through `nicks in a brunette tent`...`like a thousand sparks of life`... clever and tenderly rendered. Well done!
