Balladeer was getting feeble Lost his muse for poems His family decided, "He needs a nursing home." Balladeer seemed happy, Bed baths by young sweet girls, Some with low cut dresses And lovely blond hair curls They fed him gourmet meals He had a garden view, Gave him crayons to color, Always things to do. The nurses noticed Balladeer If left for any time Would tend to lean right over So they'd lean him back in line. He'd lean out to the left, They'd straighten him and then, He'd lean off to the right, They'd set him straight again. His family came to visit, Asked how he liked the home, He answered with frustration, Which started with a groan. "I've only one complaint, My stomach's growing fast, The nurses here won't let me, Lean out to pass some gas." |

LOL! That there be a good 'un. Talk about shifting your ballast. "We'll chase them like rats across the tundra." |

Quite frankly, I think you guys are nuts - but, in such an 'oh-so-good' way. Thank you for making me laugh (again and again). Alison |
