I thought I could see you sometimes,
disappearing into the crowd.
but it's always someone else, always.
Someone who looks similar to how you would've
if you were still here.
Remember where you used to hang out...
with the varsity guys before practice?
Only freshman hang out there now,
because they don't know.
They'll never know, how happy you were. everyday.
Just like we'll never know
how much you could've hurt.
Is it as much as we hurt now?
all I can hope is that you feel better now
even if we don't.

Sad and poignant. Also, how true about some people being so ignorant, whether willfully or not, about tragic place history sometimes...
