The poet always wishes that something happens, That in the street pass an African elephant, That in the sky a cloud is transformed into words, That the sudden sky is of green and red stripes, That the moon suddenly begins crying, The poet always wishes that something happens, That a friend finds the sun which he lost for 20 years, That a fire declares itself in his erotic dreams, That flowers change perfumes and colors every day, That the springs last 200 years and that the winter is white, That Jesus has dreams of reality The poet always wishes that something happens, That a girl undresses in a shelter bus of Manaus, That a strike bursts at daffodils, That a blackbird teaches him the language of birds, That a Picasso finally cures cancers, That the UNO takes power in the kindness and the beauty, The poet always wishes that something happens, Especially little things which look like nothing, The poet desires and wishes, alas he never decides…. |

Wishes, and hopes, and writes a script of suggestions at best... Some misplaced, but most often true. A lovely, lively poem, thank you. |

Perhaps never having to decide is a choice in and of itself. It provides the freedom to see the multiverse of possibilities and the knowledge that a window opens to what is outside, as well as, inside. I liked the feel of this piece. Thanks for sharing. Peace. poets are like that, i guess, and see legions of armies where cornfields wave in summer wind. Very cool, my friend, Jeff |
