I don't know you, and you don't know me but it was the words that bonded us. Words are pheromones They seal us in hope's cocoon of something better. Good pheromones can lead millions to that that word hope. Watch bees, watch ant colonies follow the trail, unerringly. I am not a word chemist meant to concoct a love potion. Nor are you the flower in which I want to extract pollen from. But just look at it don't desire to possess it: these once and future words that build walls for me that hold my roof of sanity. A poem: a flower that can die if plucked |

I feel the same about the birds and flowers. I love watching a father Cardnial feeding and teaching his young. He feeds the little one and then they together hop or fly to the water dish. There Dad hops away and wathes the little one from under a nearby bench. When the little one looks up and sees he is alone his head raises and stretches while looking for his hero. It seems to me this has been going on too long too many days, but no, again today they are here together. Mother seems to be still tending the second little one.I have yet to see the four of them togeter. This watching and wondering can take up a part of my afternoon. Some may call me foolish, but I am enthralled. so I understand. latearrival. |

I like the idea... words are pheromones. They have the power to attract or repel. ![]() "We'll chase them like rats across the tundra." |

Merci, Yann. You humble me. L.A, sweet sweet true tale you told! Instincts are wonderful things. I guess I am saying that we are not meant to possess everything we love. Many thanks, Earl! It reads harsher than I intended it be. Needs some fabric softener! |

Hi, Margarita! I'm a color guy: always looking for the brightest or most colorful things in nature; and plenty satisfied just to give thanks for the ability to appreciate such Divine beauty. Andrew, yup! Words are power, but they can also be honey. Thanks y'all! Jeff |
