Words are scratching at my mind The thoughts they speak are far from kind There's a sanction I cannot find Well truly, I think we all are blind. Find the light within the dark Search enough - You'll find the mark Perhaps it's just a tiny spark An abandoned house -- A lonely park. A cry rings out within the night I spread my wings and thus take flight My strength is gone - I've lost the fight I never found that spark of light. A tombstone placed right on the ground People pass without a sound A purpous that was never found Another name that's not renowned. A jerk of life -- Eyes sprung wide An alarm that blares "eleven o'five" You're amazed that you're alive Once again your dreams have lied. For beside you lies a friend Yes, it's true, you're only ten Your dreams and fears he always mends For his heart to you he did lend. |

A very nicely written poem, with great rhyming and delightful read. I hope others will find and delight in it as well. David I thank the LORD everyday |
