Come Into Morning, Stay Into Night Come into the morning, and stay into night hide in the shadows, and run from the light The welcome within, must show a face stodgy in sadness, and stoic in grace gaze of forgiving and smile of a sprite come into morning and stay into night Come into the morning, and stay into night the desire is emotion that you cannot fight lovingly, tenderly, your face: in my hands show me the wonders of noctural lands sweet dreamer of dreams until the first light Come into the morning, and stay into night (C) Jeff Feezle 3/2010 ------------ These are called 'envelope couplets' where the formula for the rhyming lines are: A1. a. b. b. a.
